At 85 years of age, King Juan Carlos, former monarch of Spain, traveled this week to his native country to participate in a nautical competition, and he did so in a manner worthy of royalty: aboard one of the most luxurious private jets in the world.

According to information provided by the portal El Español, the plane that transported the king was a Bombardier Global 6000, a high-end business jet valued at more than 60 million dollars.

From its luxurious interiors to its impressive range, the Global 6000 ensured that Juan Carlos arrived in Spain smoothly and in style.

The Bombardier Global 6000 is the ultimate status symbol for billionaires and royalty around the world.

This ultra-long-range aircraft can fly non-stop for more than 13 hours and reach a top speed of 901 km/h (660 mph).

In comparison, normal commercial jets reach an average speed of 800 km/h (500 mph).

The Global 6000’s interior is designed for maximum comfort on long journeys.

The Bombardier Global 6000 has one bedroom.

The emeritus traveled in the luxurious aircraft, which has one bedroom, two bathrooms, a galley, a crew rest area, and an eight-seat lounge during his 6,339 km trip from Abu Dhabi to Vigo (Spain).

The aircraft cabin is 2.4 meters wide, providing ample personal space.

The Bombardier Global 6000 is very spacious.

Juan Carlos was able to lie back in reclining leather seats, enjoy in-flight entertainment on touchscreens, and order personalized meals and drinks.

Other amenities included WiFi, dimmable lighting, temperature controls, and a stateroom for relaxing or working in private.

With a professional flight attendant attending to his every need, the king lacked for nothing during the nearly 8-hour direct flight.

Although the luxurious interiors surpass those of flying first class, the Global 6000’s performance is equally impressive.

Powered by two Rolls Royce engines, the aircraft can take off and land on short runways of only 1,550 meters.

It reaches a cruising speed of Mach 0.85 thanks to its aerodynamically optimized wings and fuselage.

Finally, the Global 6000 employs advanced navigation and safety systems, which ensure a smooth flight in all weather conditions.

There is no doubt that when royalty like King Juan Carlos travels across continents, no expense is spared.
