The British Royal Family is mourning the sudden and unexpected death of Thomas Kingston, the husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor, a member of the Royal Family.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the sad news this Tuesday, February 27, 2024, expressing its deep sadness at the loss of an exceptional man who brightened the lives of all who knew him.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Kingston, our beloved husband, son and brother. Tom was an extraordinary man who brightened the lives of all who knew him. Who is Lady Gabriella Windsor?
Lady Gabriella Marina Alexandra Ophelia Windsor, 42, is the youngest daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, and Princess Michael of Kent, born Baroness Marie Christine von Reibnitz.
Lady Gabriella is 56th in line to the British throne, but holds no peerage and performs no official duties on behalf of the Crown.

Kingston also had a close relationship with the family of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, as he was the partner of her younger sister, Pippa Middleton, for a brief period in 2011.
