The latest photo of Princess Lilibet has caused quite a stir, and not for nothing, as it’s one of the few times we’ve been able to see the face of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s little girl.
While both Archie and Lilibet have been pictured in photos shared with the public before, including their appearance in the Netflix documentary series “Harry & Meghan,” they have generally been very careful not to show their faces.
Meghan and Harry have gone to great lengths to keep their children’s lives private.
As we previously reported on RoyalFamily.news, this new image is part of a Christmas card, though more details have now come to light, including the source who posted it.
Latest photos of Archie and Lilibet
In the aforementioned image, there is not only Princess Lilibet, but also her brother Archie and her parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The family is shown relaxing on the lawn of their home in Montecito, California. Despite what many might think, the spread of this photo was purely coincidental.
According to People magazine, the image was spotted on Architectural Digest’s website, where a glimpse inside Gloria Steinem’s New York home was shared.
It was in that context that fans of the royal family, with a close look, noticed an unpublished photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex displayed on a side table.
The snapshot, in black and white, captured Meghan and Harry’s family and was part of the private Christmas card they sent to friends and family in 2023.
Meghan and Steinem are friends, and the feminist activist has stressed in previous interviews that she considers the Duchess of Sussex “smart, funny and committed to social causes.”
As expected, the photo of the princess has generated intense debate on social media, which is not news to the family.
To celebrate Christmas 2024, both Lilibet and her brother Archie are featured in one of the six photos on the new card.
Although on this occasion they are seen with their backs turned, it is undeniable how much they have grown up and have undoubtedly inherited their father’s distinctive hair color.
