During the Juan Sebastián de Elcano training ship’s stopover in the Dominican Republic, Princess Leonor received the First Lady Raquel Arbaje and her daughters, Graciela and Adriana, at an official reception held on board.
For the occasion, the heiress to the throne once again wore the dress uniform of the Spanish Navy, reserved only for highlights of her training.

The visit was part of the usual protocol of the ship, which opens its doors in each port to local authorities and special guests.
The first lady shared images of the meeting on her social networks and expressed her satisfaction for having been able to tour the emblematic ship and talk with the princess and crew members.
The evening took place on deck before a tour of the facilities, guided by the midshipmen themselves.
The princess has been on board for four and a half months, a demanding experience that will culminate in a few weeks.
Once this stage is over, Leonor will continue her military training in August in the Air Force, advancing on the path that prepares her to assume her future responsibilities.
