It is not often that Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía share a box with Prince William and his daughter Charlotte, but that is what happened at the Women’s Euro Cup final in Basel.
It was a moment that was equal parts royal and sporting, with the heirs to the Spanish and British thrones meeting in public for the first time, cheering on their teams.
Leonor and Sofia’s style at the Women’s Euro Cup
For the occasion, Leonor opted for what seems to be her favorite uniform for casual events: white pants, a matching top, and an impeccable blazer.
This time, she broke up the all-white look with a navy blue pinstriped jacket that gave her a sober and relaxed look. She also wore the pendant she was given a few days earlier in Sant Martí Vell, designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany’s, and earrings that we have seen Queen Letizia wear before.
Sofía, for her part, chose a similar look but with a more personal twist. She also wore white trousers and a blazer, but hers was oversized and in a light beige tone.
What really caught everyone’s attention was her vibrant red XXL scarf, clearly a nod to “La Roja,” the Spanish national soccer team.
The two showed different styles, but both were equally confident. Leonor remained true to her discreet elegance, while Sofía was more relaxed and approachable.
