Meghan Markle recently shared a sweet glimpse into her life as a mom, revealing that her three-year-old daughter, Lilibet, is going through what she fondly called her “princess phase.”
The Duchess of Sussex mentioned this charming detail during a conversation with her friend and chef Adrian Lipscombe, who later expressed his admiration for Meghan and Prince Harry, calling them “some of the most down-to-earth people” he’s ever met.
According to Lipscombe, their chat wasn’t just about food—it was also about family life.
Both parents bonded over how their young daughters are currently fascinated by all things princesses. He highlighted Meghan’s warmth during the conversation, noting that “she didn’t rush things, even though I was taking up her time. She was gracious, engaged, and kind.”
The reveal about Lilibet comes just as Meghan prepares to launch her latest project on Netflix—a lifestyle series titled With Love, Meghan.
Set to premiere on January 15, the show promises to showcase Meghan’s creative side in the kitchen, focusing on simple yet elegant recipes that viewers can easily try at home.
The series, which features eight episodes of about 33 minutes each, includes appearances by several of Meghan’s well-known friends, such as actress Abigail Spencer and comedian Mindy Kaling.
In the teaser, Mindy can be heard saying that cooking with Meghan was “one of the most glamorous moments” of her life.
Viewers will get a glimpse of Meghan selecting flowers, walking through lush vegetable gardens, and even trying her hand at beekeeping while collecting fresh honey.
Describing her inspiration for the show, Meghan said, “I’ve always loved taking something ordinary and elevating it.” She explained that the show isn’t about striving for perfection but about finding joy in everyday moments.
While many fans eagerly anticipate the release, not everyone has been enthusiastic. The publication Eater criticized the show before it even aired, calling it unoriginal.
In response, Lipscombe defended Meghan on social media, questioning how anyone could judge a series without watching it first.
Lilibet, Meghan Markle’s daughter
Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, born on June 4, 2021, is the youngest child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Her name holds deep significance, paying tribute to two important figures in the royal family: Queen Elizabeth II, who was affectionately called “Lilibet” by her close relatives, and Princess Diana, Harry’s beloved late mother.
Initially, Lilibet did not hold a royal title. However, following King Charles III’s coronation in 2023, she was officially recognized as Princess Lilibet, making her seventh in line to the British throne.
Despite living far from royal life in California, Lilibet remains a significant figure within the royal family, sharing the spotlight with her older brother, Prince Archie.
