Princess Kate Middleton and her children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, enjoyed a surprise visit to the studios where the dance show Strictly Come Dancing, the British equivalent of Dancing with the Stars, is filmed.
The Princess of Wales and her daughter are fans of this type of program and did not want to miss the opportunity to see how one of their favorite shows is made.
The visit, which took place on Saturday, December 2, was kept secret for security reasons.

Charlotte and Louis, ages 8 and 5 respectively, had fun exploring the set, sitting in the judges’ seats and holding paddles with scores after watching some of the show’s pros dance.
Prince Louis also peeked out onto the balcony from where the dancers and celebrity contestants watch the performances.
A source, quoted by the Express newspaper, revealed that Kate “took pictures of the children in the judges’ seats.”
“She seemed really relaxed and was all smiles,” the source added to the outlet. “She was polite, sweet and charming with everyone and made sure Louis didn’t get over-excited.”
This visit surely thrilled Kate and her daughter, as Princess Charlotte is a dance enthusiast and among her favorites are ballet and tap.
