Major Johnny Thompson, affectionately known as “Major Eye Candy” because of his attractiveness, has once again appeared in public with King Charles in Scotland.
Major Thompson’s presence at public events has been reduced since he took up a new position within the royals, a “more executive and less public” post, according to Palace sources.
Despite his reduced visibility, Thompson remains an important member of the King’s team, playing a key role in his daily life.
His responsibilities include accompanying the King at public events, looking after the carriages and Rolls-Royces used in state ceremonies, among other duties.
