Success after success. That’s how one could quickly sum up the recent fashion choices of Mary of Denmark. The queen consistently demonstrates why she is one of the world’s most admired women with her impeccable looks.
This Tuesday was no different, as she graced a ceremony at the Amalienborg Royal Palace in Copenhagen with a fresh new outfit.
Mary of Denmark in a Cream Skirt by Lunatica Milano
Mary debuted a floral skirt by the Italian brand Lunatica Milano, paired perfectly with a rolled-up white shirt.
The Australian-born queen was honored by the Greenlandic government with the Grønlands Selvstyre medal, which recognizes her dedication to improving the social conditions of Greenlandic children and youth.
The medal is a striking piece, featuring a gold bear engraved on it and a ribbon in the red and white colors of Greenland’s flag.
The Greenlandic government spokesperson presented Mary with this medal, marking a special occasion for which the queen chose to debut a new look.
This is quite rare for her, as she often recycles outfits to promote sustainability in fashion. The star of her ensemble was a delicate cream jacquard skirt from Lunatica Milano, a new addition to her wardrobe.
This lovely skirt features a floral design, flared cut, pleats, side pockets, and an invisible side zipper. Its high waist showcased Mary’s silhouette beautifully. The skirt is priced at 399 euros (about US$435 at current exchange rate).
To complement the skirt, Mary chose a basic white shirt, with sleeves rolled up to her forearms.
This subtle detail added a slightly casual touch to balance the formal elegance of the skirt.
With a simple white blouse and a skirt, Mary achieved a flawless look.
Jewelry played an important role in her outfit. Mary wore pieces close to her heart, symbolizing her family.
Mary donned two necklaces: one with the letter ‘F’ for her husband Frederik in white gold and diamonds by Halberstadt, and another with the initials of her four children, Christian, Isabella, Vincent, and Josephine. She also sported two Cartier Love bracelets and a double bracelet from Dulong on her other wrist.
Adding a splash of color, Mary wore blue chalcedony earrings. This gemstone is believed to have spiritual properties, aiding in telepathy and harmonizing the mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
On June 29, Frederik and Mary will visit Greenland, marking their first trip to the island as king and queen.
