Details of Meghan and Harry’s trip to Colombia
The press has now revealed some details about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming visit to Colombia.
The country’s vice president, Francia Márquez, extended the invitation to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who enthusiastically accepted.
Although the official dates have not yet been published, the couple is expected to visit Colombia starting this August.
During their trip, Harry and Meghan will tour three Colombian cities: Bogotá, Cartagena, and Cali. They will attend events in the capital and in the Caribbean and Pacific regions, with the aim of getting to know the country’s rich cultural heritage.
Vice President Márquez expressed her hope that Harry and Meghan “will further illuminate Colombia’s role as a beacon of culture and innovation.”
During their stay, the couple is expected to meet with leaders, young people, and women who represent the aspirations of Colombians.
This will not be the first international tour for Harry and Meghan. When they were active members of the British royals, they made trips to different countries, including the South Pacific, Morocco, Ireland, and South Africa.
Following their separation from the monarchy in 2020, the couple has continued their philanthropic work globally, participating in events in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and Canada.
Harry and Meghan’s visit to Colombia promises to be a significant event that will strengthen relations between them and the Latin country.
