Meghan Markle reappeared on the night of July 11th to accompany Prince Harry at a very special ceremony: the 2024 ESPY Awards.
The royal couple put controversy behind them and attended the 32nd annual ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, honoring sporting achievements.
During the event, Harry delivered a speech in which he remembered Pat Tillman’s mother. Upon learning that Harry would receive the award in honor of her son, Tillman’s mother rejected the recognition for the son of King Charles, claiming that there were other more qualified individuals to receive the award.
The Pat Tillman Service Award is given annually in honor of the NFL player who left the league and enlisted in the military after 9/11. Tillman tragically passed away in Afghanistan in 2004 at the age of 27.
Despite the controversy, the evening unfolded wonderfully, and Meghan Markle also had her share of the spotlight by attending the ceremony in a distinctive design.

Meghan dazzled at the 2024 ESPYs in a custom white halter dress by Oscar de la Renta, complemented with elegant black Celine strappy sandals valued at $745.
Her sophisticated ensemble was completed with several pieces of jewelry, including a large Cassandra ring in 14-karat gold with a diamond loop, valued at $3,466, from the brand Rodi.
Her wedding rings and the iconic Love Bracelet by Cartier were also part of her look.
Meghan opted for a polished updo hairstyle, adding an extra touch of elegance to her appearance.
Notably, social media users pointed out the striking resemblance between her dress at the ESPYs and the one she wore as her reception dress during her royal wedding in 2018.
After donning a custom Givenchy design for her wedding, Meghan changed into the white halter dress with an eye-catching open back for the evening party.
