It’s no secret that the death of Queen Elizabeth II has brought the royals closer together, marking a before and after specifically in the relationship between the Sussexes and the British royal family. That rapprochement has led Meghan Markle to write a letter to King Charles.
When the Queen died on September 8 at Balmoral, Harry and Meghan were coincidentally on a tour of Europe, fulfilling work commitments. This circumstantial event, made them spend more time in London to take part in different events related to the death of Her Majesty.
Meghan Markle letter to King Charles
Now, according to information revealed by journalist Neil Sean on his Youtube channel, Meghan Markle has had intentions to change the relationship between them and the members of the Firm and for this she would have written a letter to King Charles asking to speak privately with him.
According to Sean, who works in networks such as NBC News, Access Hollywood and Msnbc, the intention of the Duchess of Sussex with the letter would be to have “an opportunity to clarify things, differentiate the rights from the wrongs and explain some of the reasons behind what they have been doing for the last two years”.
Undoubtedly, Meghan has taken an important step to calm the tense relationship between them.
Did Meghan Markle meet with King Charles?
For now it is unknown if this meeting has taken place or will take place in the future. The couple returned to California the day after the state funeral of Elizabeth II. It only remains unknown if Meghan has already had the meeting with the new king of England or if it has been scheduled for another time, or the opposite and Charles III has rejected any approach.
