Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a surprise stylish appearance on the red carpet at the premiere of the new Bob Marley biopic “Bob Marley: One Love” at the Carib Theatre in Kingston, Jamaica on Tuesday night.
The event marked the couple’s first trip back to Jamaica since 2017 when they attended the wedding of Harry’s friend Tom “Skippy” Inskip to Lara Hughes-Young in Montego Bay.
According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, it was on that trip five years ago that Harry realized Meghan was “the one.”
Meghan and Harry in Jamaica
For the high-profile movie premiere, Meghan and Harry coordinated their outfits with elegance.
The Duchess of Sussex wore a strapless top with a black skirt with a marked waist and a lot of volume, which moved perfectly as she walked hand in hand with Harry on the red carpet. The outfit was designed by Carolina Herrera.
To complement her outfit, Meghan wore a black Jimmy Choo clutch bag, and yellow gold earrings by jeweler Jennifer Mayer. She wore her hair up and soft, flawless, and glamorous makeup.

Prince Harry on the other hand was equally elegant in a navy blue suit, which he paired with a white button-down shirt open at the neck.
The royal couple smiled happily, waving to fans and photographers gathered at the theater.
They appeared enthusiastic to celebrate the life of musical legend Bob Marley through the film.
Directed by Rick Elgood, “Bob Marley: One Love” aims to spotlight Marley’s music and message of “love and unity” that inspired generations worldwide.

The controversy
As was to be expected, criticism of the couple for this reappearance has not been long in the British media, who accuse them of posing smiling with the prime minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, who has confessed on numerous occasions that he is anti-monarchist and even that William and Kate will never be kings of their nation.
The British press also describes Harry and Meghan’s visit to Jamaica as “insensitive” considering the health situation in which King Charles III and Kate Middleton find themselves.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have sent private messages to Kate Middleton and King Charles III, conveying “their concerns and best wishes.” This was revealed by a Palace source to ‘Mirror’.
