Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are going through a difficult financial situation.
According to a source close to the couple who spoke to Closer magazine, the Duchess of Sussex would be very worried about the money she earns with the prince.
Their main source of income right now is the multi-million dollar deal they have with Netflix, but it ends in 2025 and they don’t know if it will be renewed.
Although their documentary was a success on the platform, their other productions have not had the same reception and they fear that Netflix does not want to continue working with them.

According to a close source interviewed by the magazine, the couple spends more money than they make.
“Meghan is hyper-concerned about money, as well she should be, because they are spending it hand over fist and not bringing in what they’d expected.
“What makes it kind of daunting this time around though is that they’ve blown through so much money so quickly and aren’t in anything like the strong position they once were. Meghan’s taking charge, but it could be too little too late.”
As if that wasn’t enough, Harry has to pay a huge amount in legal fees for his lawsuits against British newspapers.
“Whether Harry was right or wrong, his latest legal blow has cost them an absolute fortune, not only the pay-out they’ve been forced to make, but the endless legal bills”, The insider says.
This is not the first time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s financial situation has been questioned.
Late last year, it was reported that Prince Harry’s Archewell Foundation had lost more than half a million dollars due to declining donations.
However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have a trump card.
Last week, they attended the premiere of the movie “Bob Marley: One Love” with Paramount Pictures CEO Brian Robbins.
This sparked rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s next career move could be in Hollywood.
