As the world grapples with the “disappearance” of the Princess of Wales, Meghan Markle is undeterred and moving forward after her recent trip to Canada with Prince Harry for an event related to the Invictus Games.
Now, she is taking center stage with her own schedule of activities.
According to People magazine, Meghan will be traveling to Texas in the coming days for a very special occasion.
Meghan Markle at SXSW Conference
The Duchess of Sussex will take the stage on International Women’s Day as part of a panel titled “Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead on and Off-Screen”, at the SXSW Conference.
At 42 years old, Meghan’s unwavering commitment to feminism has earned her recognition, and her advocacy for women’s causes makes her a fitting panelist for this event. Her participation was announced on Monday, March 4th.
The panel includes Katie Couric, Brooke Shields, and Nancy Wang Yuen – an author, sociologist, pop culture expert, and specialist in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The discussion will be moderated by Errin Haines, host of The Amendment podcast and founding mother and editor-in-chief of The 19th News.
This news was also shared on the recently launched website, Sussex.com, which Meghan created with her husband, Prince Harry.
