The Duchess of Sussex and her husband, Prince Harry, were once again in the spotlight on the red carpet at the Salute to Freedom gala in New York. The couple looked spectacular, but the one who stole all eyes was Meghan Markle.
The former American actress attended with Prince Harry the gala that recognizes “extraordinary leadership and honors the brave men and women who serve in defense of our nation,” according to her website.

For the occasion, the Duchess of Sussex completely abandoned the dress codes of the monarchy and opted for a stunning red dress with a cleavage, with an opening in the front, princess skirt and tail, designed by the Venezuelan Carolina Herrena.
The accessories she wore were Giuseppe Zanotti’s pointe shoes to match the dress, subtle diamond earrings and a red poppy brooch. Her makeup was another success with which she made it clear that she no longer cares about the real protocol.
