Meghan Markle is copying a famous look of Princess Diana with her latest outfit.
The Duchess wore a fancy outfit that reminds people of Princess Diana’s classic style with a blazer and all-white clothes.
Meghan, who’s married to Prince Harry, was seen at the Los Angeles International Airport wearing a special blazer after returning from Nigeria on Monday, May 13.
Meghan Markle’s Tribute to Princess Diana’s Classic Style
The outfit Meghan wore included a camel-colored Jamilla linen blazer by Loro Piana, a white sweater also from the same brand, and white jeans.
It’s like she’s paying tribute to her late mother-in-law’s style from the 1990s.
She even wore shoes similar to the ones Princess Diana wore back in 1994, white and tan leather and canvas YSL Chris slippers.
There’s a photo of Meghan wearing the same outfit during her time in Nigeria, posted on Instagram by Derrick Cobbinah, the president of Ghana-Jamaica Chamber of Commerce.
It seems like it was one of her last public appearances with Prince Harry before they left Nigeria on May 12.
Princess Diana was known for wearing big blazers and all-white outfits during the ’90s when she wasn’t busy with official duties.
The Duchess seems to be following this style trend, often choosing sleek and monochrome outfits for her own public appearances.
During their trip to Nigeria, Meghan went for a different style than usual, wearing long dresses with bright colors.
She wore a blush silk Heidi Merrick ‘Windsor’ dress, a red Oríré ‘Dire’ dress, and a bright yellow Carolina Herrera column gown.
Meghan also honored Princess Diana by wearing a necklace that used to belong to her during a reception for military families in Abuja, Nigeria, on May 11.
A delicate gold and diamond cross necklace was a recent gift from Prince Harry to Meghan, according to People magazine.
