New images emerge of Meghan Markle delivering donations to people affected by the Eaton Fire: Did Kelly Osbourne criticize her?

After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made an unexpected public appearance to support those affected by the devastating fires in California, the Duchess had another memorable outing.

Meghan, 43 years old and with a life full of commitments, paid a low-key visit to a new aid group that has been striving to restore normalcy for teenagers affected by the Eaton Fire, one of many wildfires that have ravaged the Los Angeles area.

This fire, which started on January 7, has consumed more than 14,000 acres and, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, was 45% contained as of January 15.

On January 13, Meghan decided to show her support for the Altadena Teen Girls Fire Recovery group, an organization she and Harry have contributed to through their Archewell Foundation.

Images captured during her visit show Meghan arriving with donations that included new clothes, beauty products, and lunch for volunteers.

During her visit, the Duchess not only handed out these donations but also interacted directly with the families in attendance.

She was seen helping the young women with their shopping, sharing conversations, and providing much-needed emotional support during this difficult time. In a video shared by the group on Instagram on Jan. 15, Meghan can be seen talking to some of the volunteers, sporting a black Los Angeles cap and holding a couple of bags in her arms.

“And thank you to everyone who showed up on Monday, which was such a special day! We love you!” was the thank you left by Altadena Teen Girls Fire Recovery in the post.

This visual provided a glimpse of Meghan’s efforts on the ground and followed her previous appearance alongside Prince Harry, where the two had helped distribute food and supplies at the Pasadena Convention Center on January 10 without fanfare.

However, it hasn’t been all support and applause.

    Kelly Osbourne criticized Meghan Markle?

Kelly Osbourne spoke out about celebrities using natural disasters as a “photo opportunity.”

On social networks, the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne criticized those stars who, in her opinion, take advantage of the suffering of others to get attention.

“Is it just me being my usual cynical self or is it really disturbing to see all of these celebrities using other people’s pain and suffering as a photo op to say, ‘Look I’m helping, I’m doing this, I’m doing that?’” she said in an Instagram video that she later deleted.

She mentioned that she doesn’t believe help should seek recognition: “I don’t believe you help so that you can get attention for helping. I believe you just help because you want to.”

Despite not naming names, many assumed her criticism was directed at Meghan and Harry.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the couple has been criticized for their attempt to help fire victims; as we reported here at RoyalFamily.news, Justine Bateman also branded them “disaster tourists.”

So, as Meghan continues to show her commitment to those in need, the conversation about the role of celebrities in crisis situations continues to generate debate.
