Meghan Markle once again captured the public eye with an outing in New York that did not go unnoticed.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, was spotted Thursday night at Midtown’s exclusive Polo Bar and later at the Majestic Theatre in Times Square, where she attended the play Gypsy, starring the acclaimed Audra McDonald.

For the event, Meghan opted for a sober but sophisticated look: black blouse, long houndstooth print pencil skirt and heels, paired with discreet gold jewelry.
But beyond her styling, what caught the eye was the security deployment: a caravan of four vehicles – including an unmarked NYPD car – escorted her for a mere 1.5 miles between the restaurant and the theater.
The reinforcement responds to the memory of the controversial episode of May 2023, when Meghan and Prince Harry reported having experienced an “almost catastrophic” chase by paparazzi after leaving the Ziegfeld Theatre.
Although law enforcement sources downplayed the event at the time, the couple has not let their guard down since.
According to the NYPD, they will continue to have special security on future visits to the city.
Once at the theater, Meghan enjoyed the performance of Gypsy, and later met Audra McDonald backstage.
Through her Instagram account, she praised the staging:
“If you get a chance to see @gypsybway, you absolutely must… Her performance will leave you absolutely speechless.”
Meanwhile, Prince Harry was making an unannounced visit to Ukraine, where he toured the Superhumans Center in Lviv, a clinic specializing in the care of wounded military and civilians.
The trip is part of his work with veterans and coincides with his recent legal battle in the UK to regain state-funded security.
So, while Meghan shined on Broadway, Harry reinforced his humanitarian commitment.
