With this move, Meghan seems to be leaving her past behind and embarking on a new digital adventure with the launch of a website and Instagram account called “American Riviera Orchard”, a project that suggests to be a lifestyle brand.

Before her marriage to Prince Harry, Meghan was already an accomplished content creator with her blog “The Tig,” which ran from 2014 to 2017.
On it, she shared her culinary tastes, travel finds, and personal musings, drawing inspiration from her favorite red wine, Tignanello, for the blog’s name.
Meghan’s new Instagram account, with the simple bio “by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex. Established 2024”, debuted with nine posts that form the “American Riviera Orchard” logo, highlighting the word “Montecito” as the place she and Harry have chosen to raise their children after she retires from royal duties.
The first Instagram story shows Meghan, 42, in an idyllic scene picking flowers and cooking to the sounds of Nancy Wilson’s “I Wish You Love.”
What is American Riviera Orchard?
The name “American Riviera Orchard” seems to refer to Santa Barbara, the California town where Meghan resides with Prince Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet.
Santa Barbara has been called the “American Riviera” for its pleasant climate and rich food culture.
According to People, the trademark application for “American Riviera Orchard,” which is pending approval, indicates that the brand plans to market a range of products, including tableware, beverages, table linens and edible delights, as well as cookbooks.
The launch marks Meghan and Prince Harry’s return to social media since their last post on @SussexRoyal in 2020, following their retirement as active members of the royal family.
Meghan had shut down her personal social media accounts following her engagement to Prince Harry.
