Under the warm Florida sun, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took center stage at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge, held at the prestigious Grand Champions Polo Club in Florida.
This sporting and social event, which brought together more than 300 distinguished guests, was not only notable for its equestrian competition, but also for its noble cause.
The match was held in support of Sentebale, the charity founded in 2006 by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.
The foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of young people affected by poverty, inequality and HIV/AIDS in southern Africa.
Meghan Markle Polo Dress
The Duchess of Sussex, who is 42 years old and exudes elegance, arrived at the event in an immaculate sleeveless white dress with a slit in the abdomen that added a contemporary touch to her outfit.
The design, by Californian designer Heidi Merrick, featured a pleated skirt and halterneck bodice that accentuated Meghan’s figure, all valued at 400 euros.
She completed her outfit with luxury accessories: a Valentino clutch, a Cartier bracelet and nude pumps, perfect for walking gracefully on the lawn.
Meghan and Harry’s kiss at the polo match
The polo match was an exciting encounter that culminated in a victory for Prince Harry’s team.
In a symbolic and affectionate gesture, it was Meghan who presented the trophy to her husband, sealing the moment with a passionate kiss that captured the essence of their unconditional support.
Among those in attendance was tennis player Serena Williams, a good friend of the Sussexes, with whom they shared an affectionate embrace and lively conversation.
Meghan and Harry’s Netflix Projects
This appearance of the Sussexes comes at a key moment, as both are immersed in television projects that have captured the public’s attention.
Prince Harry is involved in filming a Netflix documentary that promises unprecedented access to the world of professional polo.
“Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level,” according to a statement on a project centered around the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Florida.
Meanwhile, Meghan is working on her own non-fiction series for the streaming giant, focusing on lifestyle topics such as gardening and cooking.
The polo match saw Prince Harry reunited with his friend and Sentebale ambassador Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras. Harry and Meghan posed for photos with Figueras and his wife, Delfina Blaquier. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also greeted the duo’s daughter, Alba, with hugs, and Meghan was seen walking with an arm around her.
In addition, the event was the perfect opportunity for Meghan to promote her new brand, American Riviera Orchard, a lifestyle products company that, according to People magazine, will offer items such as tableware, beverages, kitchen linens and edible delights like jellies and jams.
Through these ventures, the Sussexes continue to expand their influence and presence in a variety of fields, always with a commitment to social causes and the welfare of disadvantaged communities.
