Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in Canada on Tuesday, February 13 ahead of a three-day Invictus Games-related event to be held in Vancouver.
The couple, who stepped back from royal duties in 2020, are visiting to discuss plans for next year’s Invictus Games.
The trip comes amidst a flurry of new projects and developments for the Sussexes as they continue to shape their post-royal future in North America.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in Canada
Harry and Meghan are no strangers to Vancouver, having briefly lived on nearby Vancouver Island after their royal exit in 2020.
However, they soon relocated to California, where they now reside with children Archie and Lilibet.
Prior to this visit to Canada, Harry made a surprise appearance at an NFL Honors awards ceremony in Las Vegas, following a trip to the United Kingdom to visit his father, King Charles, after he was diagnosed with cancer.
Beyond the Vancouver trip, it’s been an eventful month for the Sussexes. It was announced that Meghan, 42, will launch a new podcast with Lemonada Media, after her first Spotify podcast effort quickly ended.
The couple also debuted a slick website, Sussexes.com, to showcase their Archewell Foundation and Archewell Productions endeavors in philanthropy and media.
The website explains their commitment to “shaping the future through business” and supporting a variety of causes close to their hearts.
Harry and Meghan continue to forge their own path outside the confines of royal life.
This latest Canadian visit marries their commitment to the Invictus Games with their independent stateside lifestyle.
