Since leaving behind her role as an active member of the British royalty, Meghan Markle has admitted that she has yet to clearly define her professional identity.
Although her official exit occurred in 2020, the Suits actress confessed to Fast Company that she still doesn’t know exactly how to describe herself on a resume.
“If I had to write a résumé, I don’t know what I would call myself,” she said, suggesting that her case reflects a moment shared by many going through personal or career changes.
Despite ambiguity in her career, Meghan has maintained a strong media presence. Together with Prince Harry, she has promoted various projects, from productions for Netflix to revealing interviews, as well as books, podcasts and her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Regarding the latter, she said that new products will be launched in 2026. She also hinted at her interest in venturing into the world of fashion, although she clarified that this will take shape at a later date.
As she continues to explore professional avenues, Meghan rejects common labels in the digital world.
Despite her constant exposure, she assures that she does not consider herself an influencer or a social media figure.
“I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder,” she explained, making it clear that she prefers to define herself by her role as a creator rather than by her impact on the internet.
