Meghan Markle wants to win an Oscar
According to information released by the Mail on Sunday newspaper, the Duchess of Sussex hopes that the agreement with Netflix will allow her to achieve her childhood dream: to win an Oscar.
The newspaper quoted a source as revealing that the duchess “used to practice her acceptance speech in the mirror with a brush when she was seven years old.”
“His dream was to achieve the EGOT, the great prize in show business, where the artist wins an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony,” said the informant.
Harry and Meghan are following the strategy of Barack and Michelle Obama, who signed a deal with Netflix two years ago and won an Oscar earlier this year for the documentary ‘American Factory’.
Harry and Meghan are already developing two documentaries. Some rumors suggest that the production company could be called ‘MWX Trading’ after its Mountbatten-Windsor surname, this is not yet confirmed.
