The audience applauded enthusiastically as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex took to the stage holding hands on stage at the “Friends @ Home Event” at Station Airport during the third day of the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023.
This is the couple’s first joint public appearance together at a major international event since last year.
Meghan Markle in a shirtdress by Banana Republic
Meghan appeared radiant in a black shirt dress, from the brand Banana Republic. It is a midi-length piece, with a pointed collar, and long sleeves with buttoned cuffs, but Meghan wore them rolled up.
The garment has a front button closure and a flared hem. Undoubtedly, a perfect choice, which gives comfort, discretion, and elegance, and is very flattering.
This black shirt dress is priced at $140, but right now it has a 50% discount for $70.
As for accessories, Meghan accentuated her silhouette with a thin belt from Bottega Veneta and wore a pair of towering black pumps from Aquazarra that cost $633.
Jewelry-wise there were no surprises, she wore her classic watch, a set of bracelets, a ring she sported on her pinky finger, and discreet earrings that were exposed above her slightly wavy mane.
Meghan and Harry Radiate Joy at the Invictus Games 2023
The Duchess of Sussex appeared visibly excited as she addressed the crowd. “Thank you for inviting me to the party!” she said, apologizing for her late arrival.
Meghan explained that she had delayed her trip to stay in California with Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, settling them in for their first day of school, which melted the hearts of the audience.
Turning to Harry with a loving look, Meghan praised her “incredible husband” for founding the Invictus Games, which she called “the best week ever.”

She also excitedly told the crowd that they couldn’t wait to bring their little ones next time to share in the spirit of resilience and community celebrated at the event.
Gone are the couple’s alleged tensions. Reunited in Germany, the Sussexes seem stronger than ever: joking and supporting each other.
