Meghan Markle made her long-awaited return to public events in style. The Duchess accompanied Prince Harry to the Invictus Games in the German city of Düsseldorf.
Although Prince Harry opened the 2023 edition last Saturday, September 9, Meghan travelled on September 12 to join in the celebrations.
From the first day, even from the airport that would take her to the European country, the Duchess of Sussex showed her elegance and distinction.
Meghan has carefully chosen each of the outfits she has worn in Germany, and it has even been revealed that the Duchess has spent a lot of money on high fashion brands and luxury accessories.
True to her style, the Duchess of Sussex has embraced the popular trend of quiet luxury, which other royals such as Carlota Casiraghi and Kate Middleton have also adopted.
Aware that this is a sports tournament, Meghan has opted for looks full of basics in neutral colours.
Trousers, in all shapes, sizes and colours, have become the main protagonists, with five different options that reflect elegance, luxury and comfort.
Although it was speculated a few months ago that the couple might be experiencing financial difficulties, the cost of the outfits suggests otherwise.
Prices of Meghan Markle’s looks at the Invictus Games
For her debut at the traditional dinner for family and friends, Meghan opted for the sobriety of a black shirt dress.
Comfortable, discreet, elegant and flattering, this Banana Republic design features a pleated A-line skirt, a classic shirt-neck and long sleeves, which she wore rolled up. Sells for $140
She finished off her look with $633 black Aquazzura pumps and a Bottega Veneta leather belt.
Showing off her legs in shorts
For one of the sporting events, Meghan showed off her slender legs in $175 shorts by Staud. She teamed them with a $158 white J.Crew v-neck sweater and a simple black top.
Her shoes were a pair of $1,050 Chanel slingbacks.
Meghan “All in black”
On this trip, the Duchess of Sussex proved she is confident and elegant in monochrome outfits, and the next day she wore basics such as $247 skinni pants from Frame, which she paired with a $98 sleeveless sweater from J Crew.
Meghan also wore a pair of black Aquazurra pumps, which cost around $760, and then changed her shoes for something more comfortable, opting for a pair of $790 Hermes trainers.
Her monochromatic styling was complemented by her jewellery. Gold watch, Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet and large gold earrings worth $2,550.
Meghan Markle with an autumnal look
With the new season just around the corner, Prince Harry’s wife set the trend for the coming season, attending a meeting with NATO officials in a brown satin L’Agence shirt, priced at $635.
She paired the shirt with wide trousers in a different shade of brown, designed by Gabriela Hearst and priced at $1,490.
She completed the look with impeccable Manolo Blahnik pumps, $725, and Miu Miu sunglasses, $218.
Meghan Markle “All in white”
On the same day, the Duchess opted for comfort again, wearing another monochromatic outfit, but this time in white, a sleeveless Ralph Lauren jumper costing around $160.
She teamed it with pants, also by Frame, and on her feet she chose black suede ankle-strap ballerinas by Aquazzura, the Love Affair model is priced at $795.
Meghan Markle’s Zara outfit
Meghan decided to follow in the footsteps of the Spanish royals by wearing a Zara outfit. Specifically, the Duchess wore a cream playsuit paired with a belt in the same colour, which cost almost $50.
The actress paired it with a blazer in the same colour, but by Celine, which cost more than $1600.
She also opted for comfort, wearing a pair of black YSL flat sandals that cost $595.
Meghan’s accessories included a $747 Olive Grove Crossover bag, $315 black Gravier sunglasses, $500 Bottega Veneta hoop earrings and a $998 Leo necklace.
Prince Harry’s birthday look
To celebrate another year of her husband’s life, Meghan opted for simplicity, wearing the same white trousers by Frame, but this time paired with a cool top by Doen, $271.
On her feet, she debuted beige suede flat mules by Manolo Blahnik, $745.
Meghan Markle’s grey dress
Then, for a special reception, Meghan wore wool-blend midi-cut dress with a high-neck in dark grey by Tomete, priced at $474.
She paired it with Dior pumps and wore small kyanite earrings worth over $490.
Meghan Markle’s Carolina Herrera dress
For her next outing, the actress chose another shirt-style dress by designer Carolina Herrera with panels in different shades of blue.
She repeated her Dior shoes and accessorised with a beautiful $1840 custom necklace.
Meghan Markle in nude colours
Markle once again showed her good taste in combining neutral colours, stepping out in $294 cream pants by Cuyana.
She paired them with a simple white T-shirt and covered them up with a $657 Silk Classic Trench.
She repeated the $695 Aquazzura shoes and wore $365 gold Lanvin earrings.
Meghan Markle turquoise dress
To top it all off, Meghan wore an elegant turquoise Raylene de Cult Gaia dress, which retails for $798.
She complemented her outfit with Aquazzura leather shoes for $ 695 and Kimaï diamond earrings for $ 736. She also wore a Cartier bracelet worth over $ 5 thousand dollars.
In total, Meghan took $100,000 worth of outfits with her to Germany. No doubt a style that few will be able to replicate.
