Meghan Markle’s American dream could turn into a nightmare after the results of the most recent poll measuring the popularity of the British royal family in the United States.

Ever since her marriage to Prince Harry, the Suits actress has captivated both the media and royal enthusiasts.

However, despite her initial popularity, a recent poll reveals that Americans favor Kate Middleton, the wife of Prince William and the future Queen of Great Britain.

According to the survey conducted by Redfield & Wilton for Newsweek, Kate Middleton emerges as the most well-liked royal in America, boasting a net approval rating of +35.

This places her ahead of Meghan Markle, as well as other prominent members of the royal family like Prince William and Prince Harry.

This inclination is similarly reflected in the UK, where a YouGov poll demonstrates that Kate Middleton ranks among the most favored members of the royal family.

A striking seventy percent of respondents hold a positive opinion of Kate, while other royals such as Prince William and Princess Anne also enjoy considerable popularity.

The significant appeal of the Princess of Wales can be attributed to her relatability with ordinary people. Unlike other royals hailing from aristocratic backgrounds, Kate stems from a working-class family, which renders her more accessible to the public. Additionally, her charisma and approachability further enhance her favorability.
