Meghan Markle looked delighted to board a flight bound for Germany, where she will join her husband, Prince Harry, for the Invictus Games.
After many months in the United States, this is Meghan’s first overseas trip since the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II last September.
And there’s no doubt she dressed comfortably for her transatlantic trip in an outfit valued at nearly $40,000.

Paparazzi snapped the smiling mom of Archie and Lilibet outside LAX as she prepared to board the plane.
Meghan wore wide-legged sailor-style pants by Ulla Johnson that cost $590. On her feet, she wore her beloved Valentino Roman Stud ballerinas in ivory leather, originally $770 but now sold out.
The Duchess protected her eyes with $510 Celine cat-eye sunglasses and carried a Goyard handbag valued at over $2,000.
Around her wrist glittered precious jewels: a yellow gold Cartier Love bracelet $7,350 and a Cartier Tank Française watch inherited from Princess Diana, valued at a staggering $26,000.
Meghan finished off her look with a Janessa Leone hat and a Hermès scarf peeking out of her handbag.
The most affordable part of her look was the $138 J.Crew sweater she wore underneath.
This trip abroad has special significance, as Meghan will celebrate Harry’s 39th birthday in Germany on Friday.
Meghan will support the Invictus Games competitors and deliver a speech at the closing ceremony.
