After the great stir generated by his controversial memoir “Spare”, Prince Harry admitted in an interview that he had material to write a new book with shocking revelations that he preferred to keep to himself for now.
At 39 years old and based in California, the youngest son of Charles III had no qualms in exposing the intimacies and secrets of royalty in his biography launched in 2023.
Details such as his loss of virginity, drug use, and strained relations with his father and brother William caused a real earthquake at Buckingham Palace.
Will Prince Harry release a new book?
In this context, Harry told Bryony Gordon of The Telegraph that “It could have been two books”, implying that he has even more controversies in store that he preferred not to publish for now.
“There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know. Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me,” the exiled prince revealed.
While he did not give specific details, he hinted that there are secrets about Charles and William that could further compromise the image of the British crown.
Harry also expressed his fear that his nieces George, Charlotte, and Louis will end up feeling ” spare” like him, demonstrating that he holds deep resentments about his place in the line of succession.
Royal experts speculate that, following the commercial success of Spare, it would not be unreasonable for the Duke of Sussex to seek to capitalize by launching another explosive volume on the behind-the-scenes of the British monarchy.
Although the royal family did not come out well in his first literary incursion, for Harry there seems to be no limits when it comes to narrating royal intimacies if that implies millionaire revenues.
Nor did he show any qualms about damaging his father’s image just as he was beginning his reign.
If a new book is published, it is likely to delve into the bad family relations, especially with William, or to increase the criticism towards Charles III.
He could also return to the subject of racism, so dear to his wife Meghan Markle.
Whether or not the threat of more bombshell revelations is true, what is certain is that the British crown would have to go through another worrying public questioning.
