Infanta Sofia’s life has taken an interesting turn since she began her boarding school studies in Wales.
While continuing her education at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales, the youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Spain has begun to stand out with her own personality and unique style that distinguishes her from her sister, Princess Leonor.
At almost 16 years old, Sofia has become a great support for the heir to the throne, demonstrating her maturity and complicity in various public events.

At the boarding school, Sofia has had the opportunity to enjoy different unique experiences and recently participated in the colorful Holi Festival.
This Hindu event, which welcomes spring, was held at all UWC campuses and involves students throwing powdered colored pigments at each other with water.
Images posted on social media show the youngsters enjoying the festival fully painted.
This is just one of the many activities Sofia has joined as a student at UWC.
Recently, Sofia and her classmates participated in activities such as hiking and surfing during the days known as “Project Week”.
These types of activities allow students to immerse themselves in a plan centered on teamwork and personal growth, values that UWC seeks to promote.
Sofia has also joined in solidarity challenges such as the Race for Rights, in which students and staff participated.
Infanta Sofia Photography Contest
Beyond her student life, Sofia has begun to take small steps on her path as a public figure.
Recently, it was announced that the infanta will preside over her first official act alone as godmother of the contest “Objetivo Patrimonio. Infanta Sofia Photography Contest”.
This contest seeks to disseminate the historical, cultural and natural heritage of Spain through images of the Royal Sites managed by the institution called Patrimonio Nacional.
With a professional jury in charge of choosing the winners, this event will allow Sofia to start her institutional path.
Princess Leonor’s sister will be in charge of announcing the winners during an awards gala to be held in October this year.
The Infanta Sofia will turn 17 on April 29th, becoming a great support for her older sister in her preparation for the monarchy.
