At the beginning of 2024 the public noticed a small, but significant change in the appearance of Princess Leonor’s teeth.

It was during a joint appearance of the Spanish Royal Family in March, the young heiress showed for the first time a fully aligned smile, free of the dental braces she had been wearing for some time.

This detail, although subtle, did not go unnoticed by the Spanish press or the followers of the Royal Family.

Leonor Shows Off New Smile After Braces Removal

Since that moment, the Spanish press has emphasized that the princess has shown a more confident attitude in her public appearances, displaying a big smile on her face.

This new air of confidence seems to be the result of the excellent work of her orthodontist, who has managed to correct the problem that affected her.

It is interesting to remember that her younger sister, the Infanta Sofia, also underwent similar orthodontic treatment a few years ago.

Today, both sisters are sporting radiant smiles, which has led many to comment that the Spanish royal family boasts some of the most enviable smiles of European royalty.

Before and After of Princess Leonor’s teeth

Despite her title as Princess of Asturias, Leonor has not been without common dental problems, such as misaligned teeth.

In April 2023, she began her orthodontic treatment, which included wearing braces and undergoing several months of adjustments until she achieved the radiant smile she proudly wears today.

In the past, his smile revealed the absence of two of his upper fangs, a condition known as “dental agenesis”. According to experts, this problem occurs when certain teeth fail to erupt properly, something that happened to the princess after she lost her baby teeth.

Now, Leonor de Borbón sports a completely aligned smile, after more than a year of orthodontic treatments.

This change has given her a fresh and renewed air, further enhancing her natural beauty and attracting praise at every event she attends, whether alone or with her family.

Without a doubt, her new smile is testament to the fact that even royals go through the same daily experiences as any young person.
