Meghan Markle’s latest public appearance in Germany, where she arrived on 12 September to accompany Prince Harry to the Invictus Games, sparked controversy and comparisons with Princess Kate Middleton.
Coincidentally, Meghan went out on the same day as her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, and the two starred in a real style battle, wearing the same pants but in different colors.
Meghan Markle’s skinny jeans
For her appearance at the Games, Meghan opted for an all-white outfit consisting of Frame skinny jeans, which she paired with a sleeveless Ralph Lauren sweater with the brand’s recognisable logo on the top left.
The sweater retails for $160. She also accessorised her look with black suede ankle-strap ballerinas by Aquazzura, one of her favourite designers.
The Love Affair ballerina pumps are retailed at $795. Although she wore a blue and white striped sailor jumper, she didn’t end up wearing it.
Meghan Markle sunglasses
For her second engagement of the day, Meghan opted for another monochromatic outfit, this time in shades of brown.
Accompanied by Prince Harry, she attended a meeting with NATO officials in a $635 L’Agence blouse.
The Duchess paired the blouse with light linen trousers designed by Gabriela Hearst and priced at $1,490.
She completed her look with suede pumps by Manolo Blahnik, which she had worn on another occasion and which cost $725.
Meghan also chose to protect herself from the sun with a pair of Miu Miu sunglasses, which cost $218.
Meghan’s entire look is valued at over $3,000 and is certainly not affordable for all budgets.
However, there is no denying that Meghan looks good and can afford these luxuries.
