A great coincidence or a stroke of fate allowed Barça B handball team, the team where Pablo Urdangarin plays, to travel to Pontevedra for a match against Club Cisne Colegio Los Sauces.
The meeting was a few kilometers from where King Emeritus Juan Carlos has been staying since he arrived in Spain last Thursday, May 19, to attend the regatta and where he will remain until he leaves the country this Monday, May 23, not before having had a meeting at the Zarzuela with his son, King Felipe, and part of his family.

The emeritus did not hesitate to travel with his faithful friend Pedro Campos, to see his grandson in the front row of the match. Juan Carlos wore a red striped shirt, blue jacket and jeans, a totally relaxed look.
For his part, Pablo, the son of the Infanta Cristina and who became the spokesman for his family after the scandal over the separation of his parents and Iñaki’s infidelity with Ainhoa Armentia, upon noticing the presence of his grandfather did not hesitate to exchange glances and some gestures of complicity.
Although Pablo’s team could not overcome the scoreboard and ended up defeated, that did not stop Iñaki and Cristina‘s son from being happy for his grandfather’s visit and when he heard the final whistle of the game he immediately went to greet Juan Carlos with a deep hug.
In a brief statement to the program ‘Socialité’, Pablo said it was a “pride” to have the presence of his grandfather at the game.
“I was very excited to see him,” the young man added.
This is the first time they are seen publicly in Spain, recently Pablo traveled with his mother, siblings and cousin to Abu Dhabi where they shared with the emeritus monarch.
