Spanish media reported that Pablo Urdangarin returned to Spain. The second son of Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarin dreams of a professional future in Barcelona after passing through TSV Hannover-Burgdorf and HBC Nantes.
It is no secret to anyone that Pablo Urdangarin grew up admiring his father, Iñaki Urdangarin, an excellent handball player who achieved glory playing for Barça and the Spanish National Team.
Pablo managed to follow in his father’s footsteps and after years abroad he has returned to Spain with the intention of staying permanently, if his career allows it.
Pablo Urdangarin returned to Spain
The nephew of King Felipe seeks to negotiate his entry into the Handbol Esplugues Club, this will allow him to live permanently in Barcelona, the city where he was born on December 6, 2000 and where he lived until the family move in 2009.
Plablo has been seen training during the summer of 2020 at Barça without being signed, he only practices being in shape. He is committed to returning to the Esplugues Handbol Club, where he played when he was little. However, there is nothing signed and from the club they indicate that they are studying all the possibilities.
Pablo Urdangarin has thus left HBC Nantes, the French team he arrived to play the 2019/2020 season after his stint at TSV Hannover-Burgdorf.
The son of Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarin has preferred to return to what was his home, where he waits for the military at Esplugues and one day play for Asobal and be part of the Spanish National Team, as his father did at the time.
