Pablo Urdangarin, the second son of Infanta Cristina and ex-duke Iñaki Urdangarin, has just moved into an exclusive apartment in Barcelona, leaving behind the stage of living with roommates.
The 23-year-old has chosen to return to the Pedralbes neighborhood, where he spent his childhood, to undertake this new stage alone.
According to sources close to the family, Pablo has been living for a few weeks in a building located very close to the Lycée Français, the school that Pablo and his girlfriend, Johanna Zott, attended.
What is Pablo Urdangarin’s new apartment like?
Pablo’s new apartment is about 150 square meters and is located in the exclusive urbanization of Pedralbes.
The rent for apartments in the area usually ranges from 2,000 to 2,500 dollars per month, according to sources consulted by the Spanish portal Vanitatis.
The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, and a bright living room with beautiful views.
For Pablo it means returning to a neighborhood he knows well and where he has friends, which facilitates his new independent life.
The young man would have made the decision to move after leaving FC Barcelona to sign for BM Granollers, coinciding also with the fact that his two former flatmates have been transferred to teams outside Barcelona. As a result, the previously shared apartment remained empty.
It is not ruled out that Pablo could find a new sports partner with whom to share expenses, although for the moment he lives alone.
While his girlfriend Johanna does not live with him, she spends much of her free time in Pablo’s new apartment.
The young medical student still lives with her parents in Esplugues de Llobregat, but it is common to see her car and motorcycle parked near the building.
