Paul Burrell, who worked for the late Princess Diana for a decade until her death in 1997, wants an audience with William and Harry, to reveal Lady Di’s secrets to them.
The former aide to the late Princess of Wales feels the need to “share his secrets” with the princes, insisting he has information they should know.
Paul Burrell: “I just want to tell the truth.”
In a recent statement to the Daily Mirror, Burrell revealed that he has many important things to tell the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex. The former butler is preoccupied with the idea that he is running out of time as he is preparing to undergo surgery for prostate cancer.
Paul wants to tell the estranged brothers “the truth.” He assured that some things probably won’t be pretty, but he doesn’t want to leave this world with valuable information.
“My illness has focused my attention on telling the kids things before it’s too late, telling them what they really should know,” Paul explained to the newspaper.
The former butler assures that Diana confided in him many things she has never talked about and that he sees the right time to reveal it.
Paul Burrell, 64, wants to do his bit to help William and Harry’s reconciliation and believes that what he has to say could unite them as brothers, as Diana would have wanted.
The man stressed that he only wants to tell the truth and is not looking for anything in return. He just wants to see William and Harry united, although he assures that there are too many obstacles to reconciliation.
The former butler is particularly interested in sitting down with the Prince of Wales to answer him about everything that happened while he was at school.
“I just want to tell the truth. Some of the truth can be difficult.”
Burrell insisted that there are many things that happened to Diana that they may not know about, which could help “fill in blanks.”
