The news has caused shock among British royal fans.
Peter Phillips, son of Princess Anne and grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, and his girlfriend Lindsay Wallace, have decided to end their relationship.
After two years of dating, the couple have gone their separate ways, leaving behind a bond that seemed destined to reach the altar.
Peter Phillips and Lindsay Wallace broke up
According to sources close to the couple, the breakup has occurred without the intervention of third parties, and both have decided to maintain a cordial relationship.
“They were friends before their relationship blossomed. But Peter and Lindsay have now gone their separate ways,” a person close to them has revealed.
The romance between Peter Phillips and Lindsay Wallace had aroused great expectation within the Windsor clan.
The millionaire had already integrated into the family, attending informal events and demonstrating an excellent relationship with Peter’s daughters, Savannah and Isla.
In fact, it was in January 2022 when Peter decided to introduce his new bride to Queen Elizabeth II, in a meeting that took place in a warm and close atmosphere.
Lindsay Wallace, the descendant of an oil tycoon, divorced and with two children, had known Peter since childhood. They both attended Gordonstoun Private School in Aberdeenshire.
She had even been friends with Peter’s sister, Zara Phillips, with whom she had shared a course in the past and maintained a close relationship.
However, despite the family ties and the apparent strength of the relationship, Peter and Lindsay have decided to end their courtship.
A decision that, according to sources, has occurred amicably.
Divorces, separations and breakups are commonplace in the Windsor clan.
In fact, during her reign, Queen Elizabeth II experienced five divorces in her own family at close quarters.
Now, Peter Phillips is single again, after his breakup with Lindsay Wallace.
