Although after Harry and Meghan’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, the relationship with Prince Charles cooled further, everything seems to indicate that the future King of England does not hold grudges especially for a detail that could be seen in the most recent royal engagement of Camilla Parker, Duchess of Cornwall.
Camilla opened the doors of her official residence and in one of the halls of Clarence House a photo of Prince Charles and Meghan Markle could be seen, it is a photo of Harry’s wedding to the American actress. The image is specifically when Charles walked her down the aisle.
After Meghan’s dispute with her father, Thomas Markle, over the dissemination of some photos that ended up settling their relationship and caused the Duchess’s father not to attend the wedding, Harry’s wife confidently walked part of St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle alone and in a stretch, Prince Charles escorted her as if he were her father up the aisle.
The significant gesture was immortalized and, in fact, caused Charles to have his daughter-in-law present in that image in a simple portrait frame and is placed in front of a photo of Harry himself.
