One of the previously unpublished photographs of Princess Diana as a teenager was recently auctioned off for a record sum.
Although there are many images of Lady Diana taken by different photographers, few are those that allow us to know her physical appearance in her childhood or adolescence.
For this reason, news of the auction of this photograph has generated great interest among fans of the late royal.
Photo of Princess Diana as a teenager
The picture up for auction was taken in 1978 during the wedding of Jane Spencer, Diana’s sister, and Robert Fellowes, private secretary to Queen Elizabeth II.
The event took place at the iconic Westminster Abbey, and in the photograph, Diana can be seen as her sister’s maid of honor, just 16 years old and accompanied by her brother Charles.
In the snapshot, the princess looks unrecognizable, wearing an elegant white dress with red print, while holding a bouquet of roses and wearing a flower brooch in her hair.
The sale of this photograph, so precious to many followers of Princess Diana, has achieved a historic auction price of almost 10 thousand dollars, this image alone.
