Princess Leonor, heir to the Spanish throne, is participating in military training in the snow with her classmates from the Zaragoza Military Academy.
For three days, the 18-year-old will learn and practice various skills related to skiing, climbing and special operations in the Huesca Pyrenees.

The images released by the press and social media show the princess in military uniform, helmet, goggles and skis, gliding down the slopes of Astún, a resort she has already known for years.
In fact, in 2017, the royal family held a photo shoot in that same place, where Leonor and Sofia’s good level in this sport could be appreciated.
Princess Leonor and her fellow cadets will ski in the neighboring Astún resort. The winter center opened the season last Saturday and has more than 20 kilometers of slopes, which ensures enough snow to carry out the instruction plan.

This training is part of the comprehensive training that the princess receives as future head of state and commander in chief of the Spanish Armed Forces.
The princess joined the Military Academy in August this year, after finishing her studies at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales.
