Under a cloudy sky at Westminster Abbey and in a millenary ceremony, Charles was finally crowned as the new king of England. The ceremony began with the monarch’s impressive ride in the royal carriage adapted with some modernizations for his use.
King Charles III has already been invested with the crown of St. Edward, amid shouts of “God save the king”. It is the main moment of the ceremony followed by 2,000 attendees in the abbey, thousands of citizens in London, and millions of viewers on their screens.
