Bombshell! Photos of King Juan Carlos I and vedette Bárbara Rey in romantic attitude revealed
A recent report by the Dutch magazine Privé has uncovered one of the most controversial stories of recent years about the figure of King Juan Carlos I.
The magazine has published unpublished images that show the former Spanish monarch with the famous vedette Barbara Rey in an attitude that leaves little room for doubt about the relationship between the two.

These photographs, never before seen in the press, were sold by Angel Cristo Jr., Barbara Rey’s son, who claims to have captured the images himself.
According to what Cristo Jr. revealed, he decided to take this step due to a series of personal circumstances that led him to make the difficult decision of making public this part of his mother’s and ex-king’s life.

The photos, which until now had remained hidden in the shadows of the Spanish press, show Juan Carlos I and Bárbara Rey in the intimacy of the vedette’s home.
The two appear embracing and kissing, in scenes that confirm what for years was an open rumor in the corridors of high society: the existence of a romance between the two.
What adds more tension to the matter is the fact that, according to some rumors, Bárbara Rey could have used these images to put pressure on the ex-monarch.
The Dutch magazine claims that Rey, with the help of her son, would have blackmailed King Juan Carlos with these photos, a scandal that shakes both the monarchy and the actress’ entourage.
“With these photos, King Juan Carlos was blackmailed by one of his many mistresses, the television star Bárbara Rey”, assures Privé, which also stresses that Ángel Cristo Jr. took the photos secretly at the age of 13, under the orders of his mother.
For her part, Bárbara Rey has not been slow to react to the leak. Visibly shocked, she has spoken to the portal Vanitatis, where she has made clear her position on the controversy:
“I have no words. These photos are part of my private life, and I never imagined that my own son would make them public. I will follow the necessary legal channels”.
The vedette also strongly denies that her son took the images, assuring that the photos were not his work.
