A piece of news has thrilled Princess Diana’s eternal fans. Unpublished photographs of the then young Prince and Princess of Wales with their first son, William, just three months old have surfaced.
The intimate, never-before-seen images were taken in September 1982, and show proud and happy parents with their baby in their arms.
Princess Diana’s photos to be auctioned off
In total there are 22 photos where Charles and Diana are seen as a normal family receiving visits from friends and family. The most curious thing is that Charles is smiling and proud holding little William in his arms, just like Diana.
The photographs will be auctioned in a complete pack with the original negatives on March 4 at Willingham Auctions in Cambridgeshire.
The proceeds from these intimate and family photographs will be donated to charities that Diana supported during her lifetime, according to the ‘Daily Mirror’.
“The pictures collection comes with the negatives, so whoever buys it will own the copyright”, they add.
It should be noted that the photos were taken by British Airways businessman Baron King, who visited the princes at Balmoral.

Experts predict that the collection will sell for tens of thousands of pounds. Undoubtedly, of the countless photos taken of Lady Di, these offer a more personal view.
Ten years after these unpublished images were taken, the couple decided to separate after 11 years of marriage in 1992. Five years later, on August 31, 1997, Princess Diana died in a car accident in Paris, she was only 36 years old.
