Royal author Omid Scobie makes controversial claims in his new book “Endgame” regarding the relationship between journalist Piers Morgan and Queen Camilla.
Scobie alleges the two share regular phone conversations and that Camilla once quietly thanked Morgan for defending the royal family against criticism from Meghan Markle.
Morgan has vigorously denied these assertions, branding Scobie a “liar” and launching personal attacks on the writer.

In his book, Scobie claims Morgan and Camilla have been close friends for over 20 years and continue to chat regularly on the phone.
He also states Camilla thanked Morgan for his criticism of Meghan Markle after her bombshell Oprah interview.
Morgan fired back against these allegations both on his TalkTV show and in a newspaper column.
He stated unambiguously that he had never once spoken to Camilla on the phone.
Morgan also denied receiving any thanks from the Queen after criticizing Meghan, although he admitted conversations with other royals at the time.
Amidst slamming Scobie as a “liar” and “lickspittle,” Morgan maintained the claims of his friendship with Camilla and her subsequent gratitude were complete fabrications.
This very public war of words between the controversial journalist and royal author looks unlikely to fade away soon.
