Prince Andrew, the spoiled child of the late Queen Elizabeth II has become the most uncomfortable member of the British royal family since his friendship with child sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein was discovered.
In 2019, the Duke of York gave a television interview on Newsnight to defend himself against the allegations in the Epstein case, but his explanations convinced no one and his image fell apart.
Does Prince Andrew want to give another interview?
Things got worse. Last year, Andrew paid one of his complainants, Virginia Giuffre £12 million in an out-of-court settlement. Now, as reported by ‘The Mirror’, Prince Andrew seems to be willing to grant a second interview to tell “his version” of the facts, something that would have King Charles III very nervous, as he is aware of how bad everything could go wrong again.
The consulted source assures that Andres “feels he has little to lose when he has already paid a terribly high price”.
It is true, Andrew has nothing left to lose as there are reports claiming that King Charles, in his reorganization of the private royal finances, has turned off the economic tap to his brother and will lose 250,000 pounds a year.
The British press has also reported that Charles III has been involved in an awkward situation with his brother Andrew, as the prince was seeking to have the King foot the bill for an annual bill of £32,000 for the services of an Indian guru healer. Andres has been his client for years and Queen Elizabeth II used to pay for everything, but the current monarch of England has told him that he will have to pay for it himself.
Added to this, the father of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice will have to leave his impressive 30-room Royal Lodge mansion and move to Frogmore Cottage, a small 3-bedroom house that was the residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
