Little Archie, son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, just turned six, and the day did not go unnoticed.
His mother, the Duchess of Sussex, shared on Instagram a message full of tenderness accompanied by a new photo of the child.

As has become customary, his face is not visible. He only appears on his back, wearing striped pajamas, looking towards the horizon under a bright sun.
“Our son. Our sun.”, Meghan wrote, playing with that double meaning between ‘son’ and ‘sun’, while thanking the messages of love and prayers received.
She also recounted that they had already celebrated the birthday at home over the previous weekend, surrounded by close people.
Since his birth in 2019, Archie has been a rather singular figure within the royal world. There was no official posing outside the hospital, no rushed presentation either.
His parents chose to show him for the first time from Windsor Castle, two days later, in a much more relaxed atmosphere than usual.
That distance from British royalty became even clearer when Harry and Meghan resigned from their official duties and moved first to Canada and then to California.
Since then, they have been very adamant about one thing: protecting their children’s privacy. Neither Archie nor his sister, Lilibet, have grown up in front of the cameras, for now.
Archie’s birthday came in the midst of another shake-up for his father. A few days ago, the British judiciary denied Harry the right to receive state-funded security when he travels to the UK.
The Duke gave an interview to the BBC where he talked about a bit of everything. He said that he is being left alone, that his father and brother don’t want to talk to him.
As expected, no one from Buckingham said a word.
Meanwhile, Archie is growing up away from all the noise. And yes, although his life is very different from what is expected of a prince, as of recently that is his official title. He inherited it automatically after the death of Elizabeth II, when his grandfather became king.
The change is already reflected on the official royal family website.
Six years have passed quickly. Archie is still that little boy we don’t see, but everyone talks about.
