An insider from the high-ranking royal family circle, has revealed that “Prince Charles had a very emotional meeting with Lilibet”. The heir to the throne was “absolutely thrilled” by the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with their two children, Archie and little Lilibet Diana.
The same source has also assured that the first trip of the Sussexes and their children to the UK had been “wonderful”.
“It was fantastic to see them, it was wonderful to have them back in Britain,” were his exact words.
Other details that have been revealed a month after the meeting, is that Prince Charles was also happy to be reunited with three-year-old Archie.
“The prince, of course, hasn’t seen his grandson Archie for a while, so it was very very very special to spend some time with him,” confessed the same source, who added: “The prince and the duchess were absolutely delighted to see them.”
