Prince George delighted royal fans on Saturday by making his first official appearance of the year with his father, Prince William, at the FA Cup Final in London.
The event, held at Wembley Stadium, saw George and William watching rival teams Manchester City and Manchester United compete for the win. The match ended with Manchester United’s victory, taking a 2-1 lead.
George has accompanied his father to soccer matches before, but this was his first public appearance at an official event this year.
Earlier, they watched an Aston Villa match privately in Birmingham. This time, William was there in his role as president of the FA.
George and his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, have not appeared together at a royal event since December.
This break has been due to their mother, Princess Kate, undergoing cancer treatment.

During the cup final, young Prince George sat beside his father. After the game, William presented the FA Cup to the winning Manchester United team and gave medals to both teams.
Cameras captured George shaking hands with the players, including Manchester City star Jack Grealish, and even exchanging brief words with them.
A TikTok video of George’s interactions, uploaded by user wikagechlo on May 26, quickly went viral, gaining over 210,000 views in just 48 hours.
The video shows George confidently congratulating the players and posing for photos with his father.
The caption reads, “Prince George joined his father Prince William to the FA cup,” and the video has received over 15,000 likes and 340 comments, with many praising George’s maturity.

Prince George has attended several sports events with his parents in recent years.
In 2021, he joined William and Kate to watch the UEFA Euro 2020 final between England and Italy. He was also present at Wimbledon Tennis Championship games in 2022 and 2023.
