At just 11 years old, Prince George is already showing a love for sports, and his latest hobby is turning heads.
While the young royal has long enjoyed soccer, rugby, and cricket, he’s now added a new and challenging sport to his list: triathlon.
Prince George’s New Hobby
According to his father, Prince William, George has recently taken up triathlon at school, a sport that requires both endurance and determination.
William revealed this surprising news during a ceremony at Windsor Castle, where he was presenting Non Stanford, a former triathlon champion, with an MBE for her contributions to the sport.
Stanford shared, “He was telling me how George has been doing triathlon at school. He even mentioned a colleague who gave George advice on how to use talcum powder in his shoes, which he’s been sharing with his classmates. They’re all excited about it!”
Beyond his love for sports, George also has a fondness for video games, something his parents, William and Kate, admit to keeping a close eye on.
In 2022, William opened up about the challenges many parents face when it comes to managing screen time.
“At the moment, it’s about trying to regulate the gaming,” William said. “George is particularly fascinated by it, but the other two are still a bit young. They love watching movies, though.”
Despite their busy royal duties, William and Kate work hard to maintain a balanced family life.
Both are hands-on parents, often juggling royal engagements around their children’s schedules. They make an effort to do school runs and even assign chores like setting the dinner table in exchange for rewards like pocket money or extra screen time.
Between triathlon, football, and video games, Prince George is already shaping up to be a well-rounded future king.
