After the surprise visit made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Queen Elizabeth last April before the start of the Invictus Games, it was learned that the couple confirmed their attendance to the events related to the Platinum Jubilee for Elizabeth II’s 70 years on the throne.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will join other members of the royal family such as Prince Charles and Camilla and William and Kate for the first time since their resignation. The couple will travel with their children Archie, who turned three on May 6, and Lilibet Diana, who will turn one on June 4.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be at the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth
A spokesperson for the Sussexes assured that both Meghan and Harry “are excited and honored to attend the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children”.
The celebration will bring together the entire British royal family and, despite the attendance of the Sussexes, the Queen made a decision that will leave them partially out and that is that on the balcony of Buckingham Palace will only be accompanied by family members who work for the ‘Firm’, as the monarchy is also known.
“After careful consideration, the Queen has decided that the traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance will this year be limited to Her Majesty and members of the Royal Family currently performing official public functions on behalf of the Queen,” so reads a statement issued from Buckingham Palace.
Meghan and Harry are not the only ones excluded, Prince Andrew will not be able to be at his mother’s side either because he, in the midst of the controversy related to his ties with Jeffrey Epstein, decided to resign from his position as Duke of York. His daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will also not be part of the greeting from the balcony because they are not invited.
